This dj from Delft, Holland is playing house music since 1998. On a high school party he was left alone behind the decks. The kick he got from the crowd that went wild on his dj-set became his motivation as a dj.

Through all kind of parties in Holland, the local radio station Energy, de record store Sounds where Remedy worked during his study architecture and many many student parties, became dj Remedy the alter ego of Reinder Douwes.

Remedy participated in all kind of dj-contests. The best result he got was at the Diesel-U-Music competition. In the final at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam he became runner up.

When Remedy noticed that there was a shortage of high quality house parties in his hometown Delft, he thought of the concept FORM.
The best talents, pop/tock/dance crossover acts, dope visuals and live painting artists are responsible for an insane party, which is gaining respect throughout the whole country.

Organizing parties, working as an architect, deejay and producer of the live-act The Architects, Remedy is a multitalented, enthusiastic and hardworking dance lover. This he shows when performing behind the decks and is playing a well-organized mix of progressive, electro and techhouse dance music. No special tricks, just great timed, uplifting and special dj-sets.

Deze Delftse dj draait al sinds 1998 mee in het Nederlandse housecircuit. Op een schoolfeest werd hij door een samenloop van omstandigheden achter de draaitafels alleen gelaten. De kick die hij toen kreeg van het publiek dat uit hun dak ging op de muziek die hij draaide, werd zijn drijfveer als dj.

Dankzij allerlei feesten in Nederland, de locale radiozender Energy/ Stadsradio Delft, de platenzaak Sounds waar Remedy tijdens zijn studietijd werkte en ontelbare studentenfeesten werd dj Remedy het alter ego van Reinder Douwes.

Remedy deed mee aan verschillende dj-competities. Het beste resultaat werd tijdens de Diesel-U-Music contest in het Olympisch Stadion in Amsterdam behaald. De finale bracht hem de tweede plaats.

Toen Remedy merkte dat er in zijn stad Delft te weinig werd georganiseerd voor de kritische Delftenaar, bedacht hij het concept FORM.
De beste talenten, pop/rock/dance crossover acts, vette visuals en live kunst zorgen samen voor een waanzinnig feest dat nu landelijk respect begint te krijgen.

Organisator, architect, deejay en producer van de live-act The Architects. Remedy is een veelzijdige, enthousiaste en hardwerkende dance liefhebber. Dit straalt dan ook iedere keer van hem af als hij achter de draaitafels staat en een strak georganiseerde mix van progressive, electro en techhouse neerzet. Geen bijzondere trucjes, gewoon goed getimede, opzwepende en bijzondere dj-sets.
